St. George’s Kindergarten Traditions

From Dragon Bash to Beach Day, St. George’s has over a dozen beloved annual events that you and your child will look forward to. St. George’s Traditions are a great way to meet other families and stay involved in the St. George’s community.

  • Football Fun Day+

    Each fall, SGK students, parents, and staff cheer on their favorite football teams with a parade and a day of football fun! Special guests such as TRAC, Titans cheerleaders, and players from local area schools help us kick off our celebration!

  • Halloween Parade+

    Halloween is a favorite holiday at SGK and includes a Halloween costume parade before individual classroom parties. Parents, grandparents, and special friends join us on campus for the festivities!

     

  • Trunk or Treat+

    New to SGK in 2021, this weekend event is a great chance for families to gather and put their creativity on full display!

  • Cookies with Santa+

    Our 1s and 2s have a chance to meet and take a picture the big man himself at our annual Cookies with Santa event held in Legacy Hall.

  • Merry Grinchmas+

    All the Whos in Whoville attend St. George’s Kindergarten for one day! Students and staff get a chance to dress up in their finest grinchwear and ring in the holiday season. Santa’s reindeer even join us and give rides before their big night!

  • Polar Express Day+

    All aboard the Polar Express! On this fun December day SGK kiddos and staff wear their favorite pajamas and enjoy special treats like hot chocolate, catch a train ride around campus, and view the holiday favorite film.

  • Christmas Parade+

    Holly Jolly, Honk Honk! Families participate in a Christmas-themed parade with some very special guests to kick off the Christmas season. Santa and his elves are there to collect toys for St. Luke’s and hand out reindeer food and candy canes to all our visitors.

  • Christmas Pageants+

    St. George’s Kindergarten’s own treasured version of the Holy Nativity as portrayed by the Fours and Fives performed in the sanctuary each December.

  • Christmas Sing+

    A Christmas concert performed by all students in the Threes program performed in Legacy Hall.

  • Dragon Bash+

    St. George’s Kindergarten’s annual fundraiser held in the spring consisting of an auction, cocktails, dinner, and live music. Proceeds from this fundraiser event benefit the school’s enrichment fund. This year’s Dragon Bash is April 28th, 2023.

  • Spring Sings+

    The annual Spring concert performed by all students in the Threes program. Two performances are held in April in Legacy Hall

  • Noah’s Ark+

    The annual play, and a truly special Saint George’s tradition, performed in the Spring by all students in the 4s program. Two by two they’ll sing to you!

  • Peter Pan+

    The annual play, and a truly special Saint George’s tradition, performed in the Spring by all students in the 5s program. Fairy dust included! 

  • Beach Day+

    Get ready to hang ten, dude! Our school gets ready to bring on summer vibes with this special beach day at school including a treat from the Kona Ice truck. Don’t forget your sunnies!

  • End of Year Carnival+

    This event is new to Saint George’s for 2022 and we look forward to gathering with our school community to celebrate the end of another great year of learning!
