St. George’s Kindergarten is always looking for talented, qualified teachers and staff members who are interested in working for a fun, dynamic preschool that is rooted in academic excellence and Christian tradition. We are currently looking for full-time and substitute teachers. We’d love to have you!

SGK offers competitive pay, and teachers are supported by a hard-working school board and a very generous and active parent community. We operate on a traditional school-year calendar starting in late August and ending in late May. Our calendar and hours make this conducive for moms with school age children.

Our classrooms have low teacher/student ratios:

• 1’s: 2 teachers – 7 children
• 2’s: 2 teachers – 8 children
• 3’s, 4’s and 5’s: 2 teachers – 12 children.

Teachers arrive at 8:00 and leave at 2:30, and students attend 8:30 – 2:00. Teachers are paid for all school breaks which include Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break as well as other holidays and receive 8 days of paid time off during the school year. Teachers are given a Christmas and year-end bonus.
