Admissions at
St. George’s

Choosing a preschool is an important decision—but we’re here to help. St. George’s Kindergarten offers a high-quality preschool education to children ages 1 through 5. While our school is open to everyone, as an outreach of St. George’s Episcopal Church we do prioritize admission for active church members. If you have any questions regarding your church membership, please contact Claudia Taylor, Parish Secretary, at claudia.taylor@stgeorgesnashville.org or 615-385-2150.

Enrollment Procedures

  • Applications for enrollment will be accepted September 15 through December 1 of the year prior to anticipated enrollment. For example, applications for enrollment in the 2024-2025 school year will be accepted between September 15 and December 1, 2023.
  • All applications must be submitted online.
  • Each application must include a non-refundable fee of $75.
  • Applications received after December 1 will be placed at the end of the wait list.
  • The Enrollment Committee meets the second week of January to fill enrollment for the following school year. Acceptance and wait list emails will be sent to all applicants.

Enrollment Priorities and Wait List

  • Current students will have first priority for space in the next program level for the following year.
  • St. George’s Episcopal Kindergarten is a direct outreach of St. George’s Episcopal Church. Active church members are given priority both during the admission process and with regard to preferred days of attendance. St. George’s Episcopal Church members who have demonstrated a steady commitment of time, talent, and resources to the church prior to application will receive priority consideration. This commitment would include church attendance, involvement in church activities and programs, and financial support of the church. A member’s eligibility will be reviewed annually, and in cases where other factors are equal, the longevity of an applicant’s membership at St. George’s church may be considered.
  • If you have questions regarding your church membership please contact Claudia Taylor, Parish Secretary, at 615-385-2150 or claudia.taylor@stgeorgesnashville.org.
  • Applicants who have a sibling that is a current or former student will also receive priority consideration.
